Welcome to The Urban! We are Wynand and Jannie, your hosts, and we’re thrilled to share our little gem of an apartment with you.

 

I (Wynand) work in the Dermal Aesthetics industry, while Jannie is a talented hairdresser and oil painter.

We both love traveling, discovering great food, and experiencing local cultures firsthand—so we understand the importance of a comfortable and authentic stay.

 

Having lived in Pretoria since 2003, we’ve come to appreciate its unique charm, especially in October when the Jacaranda trees bloom and paint the city in a stunning shade of purple.

Our hope is that during your stay, you’ll truly experience the culture and vibrancy of Pretoria. From its lively cafes and fine dining spots to its rich history and natural beauty, this city has so much to offer. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, we want you to feel at home and leave with wonderful memories.

As a personal touch, you’ll find framed photographs in the lounge—snapshots from our own travels, complete with date and time stamps. We love capturing moments and will be updating these over time. The wines available in the apartment are our personal favorites, chosen seasonally to enhance your stay.
